We sit through the same silliness,
smile older. sudoku master nodding
in unison, agreeing though not agreeing.

We see, not touch those tired tables, fixed loosely
and burnt at an edge, somebody cried for you before.
QUEEN my lord, can one?

Indonesia erupts in much of a frenzy. we do
not get more frowns. we smile older at her
lost concentration. scrapebooks.

A slash of pink, mardi gras style, we do not get
such bags. under those eyelids,
a bird dies, falls, at the base of a colourful cliff.

Wedding bells from a rose petal too much,
some ladies sang a phallic hymn tonight, under the
artificial romantic light, or beach moonlight.

BURST! shoes worn out on red, but never
dies out, in the busy consumerist world,
of price cuts, rings, lords, of, brokeback drools.

A curved moon beneath a mole and broken ear,
or am I right. Before all goes,
a camera flash, a weird, distinct smile of a moon.

TO GEOGERS, haha, just reading your blogs again is quite reminiscent.

AH.

This is a weekday. And I am proud to say that I am at home (ie not in camp).

Typing away as the lines of an over-emotive Chinese drama serial can be heard from the TV 10m away, it doesn't feel awkward using the computer at such a time and day. It feels rather nostalgic to be frank. Those jc days when you casually fart around online, at around 9pm at night, chat with friends, write a blog entry ...

I HAVE ENDED MY 14-week SERVICE TERM! And on to my last 24 weeks in OCS. How fast! How slow! Suddenly, it dawned on me that this is another separation. Some go to signals, some to combat engineer... In the Army, people really come and go. Got to make new friends again. Something I don't really like, because as my OCS buddies realised and as I also grew to realise, I don't warm up to people fast. But as I look back, I have made very good friends. I guess it's just inertia and resistance to meet new people. Friendships are hard to build, strong ones more.

O well, I think life in Army has never been better. I'm truly enjoying myself now and as I transit into a new term, I hope everything goes smoothly and I WILL COMMISSION! I've got Army Half Marathon. I've got Wing Sergeant Major on my shoulders now. I've got good grades in OCS. Wow, never expected this on my first week here, where then, it was quite a nightmare. Haha, see, so, if you think you are having a tough time, hey, good times will come soon. :)
